2. Prostitution
After years of experimenting with legal brothels, Sweden realized it had a massive problem with the illegal sex trade, human trafficking for sexual purposes and violence against women. In the late 1990s the Swedish Government introduced a law to make the purchase of sex by men and the ownership of a brothel illegal and created exit services for women involved in prostitution. Would your Party take a similar policy approach or at least:
• Give local governments the power to veto brothel applications
• Ban newspaper advertising of brothels? |
